BCC Family News and Prophecy Conference Update

Dear friends,

What a great fall kick-off we had at the church this past Sunday morning!  In addition to the usual great praise and worship, we started our new children's ministry classes for all children from newborns up to grade six.  We now have five different ages of children's ministry happening - a 0-2 nursery, a 3-4 nursery, a Kindergarten and Grade 1 class, a Grade 2-3 class, and a Grade 4-6 class.  We have received so much positive feedback on the new set-up, and we are looking forward to all of the great things the Lord is doing to do in the lives of our children and youth.  Our youth also kicked off their fall ministry with a beach party Sunday afternoon at Phil and Janet's house, and are looking forward to meeting at the church again this coming weekend at 6:00 pm.

Here's a look at some of the upcoming events and activities at BCC...

ENGAGING THE PROPHETIC CONFERENCE:
BCC and St. Ouens churches are co-hosting a prophetic conference from Sept. 25-27. This is for anyone who wants to learn how to step out into the prophetic realms, hear from God, and minister to others. Guest speakers: Kim and Mary Andersson from Redding, California. Sessions include praise and worship, preaching and personal prophetic ministry.  Starts Friday night at 7:00 pm, Saturday morning at 9:00 am, and it all culminates Sunday morning with a combined worship service for the congregations of BCC and St. Ouens churches at our church at 10:30 am.  Admission is free, but a freewill offering will be taken up each day.

SUNDAY LUNCHEON (SEPT. 27TH):
Note - we aer planning to host a luncheon at the church after the Sunday service at our prophetic conference.  We're asking all of the families in the church to bring enough sandwiches for your family, and for another family - so we have enough for all of the visitors who come.  Soup and drinks will be provided by the church.  Thank you!

OVERCOMERS OUTREACH:
We are planning a 24 week, 12-step program starting Sept. 29th at 7:30. The cost is $23 for the workbook. The O.O. Fall Round-up is on Oct. 17th at 6:30 pm at BCC.  If you're interested in participating in this discipleship course, please contact us by Sun. Sept. 27th.

CLOTHING GIVE-AWAY:
Fri. Oct. 2 (9 am - 6 pm) and Sat. Oct. 3 (9 am - 3 pm). Donations of good used clothing needed.

HOME GROUPS:
Get connected! God longs for you to have rich, genuine connections with him and a handful of other people. Our home groups are designed to help you connect more deeply with Jesus Christ and build relationships with Christian friends. Meeting Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm. Starts: Sept. 30th
