Let's Talk About Sex!

This past Sunday morning at church, I preached a message on human sexuality entitled, "God's Design for Love, Sex and Relationships." We looked at how God created us to be loving, relational, sexual beings, and when we follow God’s design and purpose for these things, we will experience satisfaction, fulfillment and pleasure. We talked about how Satan has come and stolen what God created and sex is seen as something dirty or shameful that you’re not supposed to talk about. But we discovered that God wants us to know about this wonderful gift, and not learn about it from TV, the streets, at some sleepover, or in a junior high health class.

In the evening, I shared a message at our True Love Waits Youth Rally called, "Why Wait?" and talked about the many practical benefits to abstinence. True Love Waits is an international campaign designed to challenge students to be sexually abstinent until marriage.
